Check out JUNG's website for more information on how to use JUNG. They have an excellent set of samples and a very active support listserv.

Hi Maiko, This code definitely works. It sounds like you haven't copied and pasted the parenthesis. Just translate it to Java if you have more trouble, though, since it's very easy to do that. I can't write the code for you, though. Good luck.

Using Asterisk-Java and the LumenVox Speech Engine

Steve Prior has ported the sample application of the LumenVox Speech Engine to Asterisk-Java. His code is now available at the Asterisk Speech Application Zone.

What do you think about speech-enabled applications? Would you like to see native support for the LumenVox API in Asterisk-Java?

I wholeheartedly support adding support for Lumenvox to Asterisk Java. I would be a great addition to the existing library as good quality speech recognition is an extremely powerful addition to Asterisk's capabilities.

I second that. Lumenvox currently supports a C and C++ library but having a Java interface to that would enable much more rapid application development.

Is there any way of implementing support for the swift TTS made by cepstral? I recently bought a license for this really great TTS engine. It would be awesome to see it work with asterisk java together. /cheers Christoph
