Steve Prior has ported the sample application of the LumenVox Speech Engine to Asterisk-Java. His code is now available at the Asterisk Speech Application Zone.

I wholeheartedly support adding support for Lumenvox to Asterisk Java. I would be a great addition to the existing library as good quality speech recognition is an extremely powerful addition to Asterisk’s capabilities.
I second that. Lumenvox currently supports a C and C++ library but having a Java interface to that would enable much more rapid application development.
Is there any way of implementing support for the swift TTS made by cepstral? I recently bought a license for this really great TTS engine. It would be awesome to see it work with asterisk java together.
